Corporate Strategy Retreats Near Nashville
Every organization reaches moments when the next decision matters more than the next meeting. Firefly was created for executive teams who need uninterrupted time to evaluate opportunities, solve difficult challenges, align priorities, and leave with a clear path forward. Our private estate retreats replace everyday distractions with an environment built for strategic thinking.
Why Strategy Looks Different Outside the Office
Most organizations don’t struggle because they lack smart people. They struggle because the environment never changes. The office brings interruptions, routines, and operational thinking. Firefly intentionally changes that rhythm. When leadership teams step away from everyday responsibilities, conversations become more candid, priorities become clearer, and decisions become easier to make.
Who these retreats are for
• Executive leadership teams
• Annual planning sessions
• Department heads and functional leaders
• Growth-stage companies navigating complexity
Firefly’s integrated environment keeps leaders present, reduces drift, and supports decisions that stick.
What a Successful Strategy Retreat Produces

Private setting + uninterrupted time helps leaders resolve open loops and move forward.
Leadership Alignment
Leaders align around strategy, roles, and expectations — reducing friction after the retreat.
Defined Accountability
Next steps are assigned with clear owners, timelines, and accountability.
Candid Communication
Integrated lodging and working rhythm eliminates drift and improves clarity across leaders.
Forward Momentum
Teams return with energy, confidence, and a practical path forward.
Investment Structure
Simple starting points. Retreat proposals shaped around your group.
Every Firefly retreat begins with a private estate reservation: Paradise starts at $7,000/night and Rock Springs starts at $15,000/night. From there, your proposal is shaped around lodging, meals, hospitality, meeting support, bar service, and curated experiences.
From $7,000/night
Paradise begins at $7,000/night. Rock Springs begins at $15,000/night. This reserves the private estate for your group.
What’s included starting at $330/person/night.
The hosted package includes the major retreat pieces already coordinated into one complete experience, in addition to the required estate reservation.
Best for groups that want less piecing together — and more time focused on the purpose of the retreat.
Building blocks available from $125/person/night.
The lodging foundation begins with overnight accommodations added to the required estate reservation. From there, the retreat can be built with meals, support, hospitality, bar service, and curated experiences as needed.
If your group chooses only the private estate reservation and lodging foundation without added building blocks, an additional cleaning fee may apply.
Final proposals vary by property, group size, dates, lodging needs, meal selections, bar service, cleaning requirements, and requested experiences.
What every Firefly retreat includes
Full private property buyout
Your team occupies the entire property. No shared spaces, no outside groups, no public overlap — ensuring focus and confidentiality from arrival to departure.
Integrated lodging
Onsite accommodations designed to keep leaders together and engaged throughout the retreat.
Hosted dining rhythm
Chef-prepared meals with dietary coordination and structured dining experiences that support meaningful conversation.
Daily Snacks & Beverages
Continuous coffee service, water, and premium snack selections to maintain energy and momentum.
Meeting Infrastructure
Core AV, breakout environments, large-format note pads, preset working spaces, and daily common-area refresh ensure the retreat flows without interruption.
Firefly Moments
Signature gathering environments that allow ideas to settle and relationships to deepen.
Strategy rarely changes when the setting stays the same.
The office is built for execution. Firefly is built for perspective — giving leadership teams the privacy, pace, and space to move from discussion to decision.
Leaders report activity instead of resolving what matters most.
The urgent continues to crowd out the strategic.
Issues stay polite, unresolved, or pushed to the next meeting.
The meeting ends, but ownership and momentum remain unclear.
The retreat is structured around clarity, alignment, and next steps.
The team stays together, away from outside guests and daily distractions.
Private estate settings allow deeper, more honest conversations.
The experience supports shared priorities, ownership, and momentum.
It doesn’t feel like a conference or a hotel ballroom. It feels focused. Your team arrives and immediately understands the space was designed for real work.
Morning sessions begin without scrambling for setup. Breakout spaces are prepared before you need them. Conversations continue naturally over meals. Evenings allow ideas to settle instead of scattering.
There is no drift between lodging and meeting space. No one disappears to another building. No one leaves early because home is nearby.
The rhythm is intentional: work deeply, pause well, decide clearly, and leave aligned. That balance — structure without stiffness — is what makes progress feel natural.
Retreat Planning Details
The office is designed for execution. Strategy requires perspective. By removing leaders from their daily environment, organizations create the space for better conversations, stronger alignment, and decisions that are less influenced by interruptions and routine.
No. Firefly is a private buyout retreat environment designed for leadership conversation and strategy work.
Firefly Venues is approximately 50 minutes from Nashville International Airport (BNA). The drive offers a scenic transition from the city into a more private, relaxed countryside setting — ideal for teams looking to step away from daily distractions while remaining easily accessible for national travelers.
Both Paradise and Rock Springs are located approximately 50 minutes North from downtown Nashville. This allows groups to enjoy the privacy and focus of a dedicated retreat environment while still having access to the city for optional dining, entertainment, or post-retreat experiences.
For groups looking for nearby restaurant options without traveling into downtown Nashville, Hendersonville is approximately 25 minutes away and offers a variety of casual and upscale dining options. Our team is happy to provide recommendations or coordinate reservations as part of your retreat planning.
While Firefly Venues does not operate transportation services, we gladly coordinate airport transfers and off-site transportation through our preferred local partners to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
Optional. Many teams self-facilitate. We can recommend partners if desired.

“Paradise by Firefly Venues provided the ideal setting for our Leadership Sumner retreat. It is remarkably accessible, yet the moment you arrive, you feel completely transported, as though you’ve stepped into a private sanctuary. The thoughtful restoration pays tribute to its rich musical legacy while creating an inspiring environment designed for meaningful, focused work. What truly distinguished the experience was the team. They asked insightful questions from the outset, anticipated needs we hadn’t yet identified, and executed every detail with seamless precision. This allowed our Board to remain fully immersed in strategy and leadership development, confident that everything else was impeccably managed. We are already planning our return and have enthusiastically recommended Paradise to corporate planners, brides, and families celebrating milestone occasions.”
— Beth Pickel, Leadership Sumner Board President

I just wanted to say a few words about our experience at Paradise in November. I run events across the world in a variety of conferencing and retreat venues, but they rarely feel as welcoming and homely as this. The central kitchen felt like a shared family space with always a gentle and easy conversation flowing, and the spaces both inside and out gave us so much choice in curating an environment conducive to team and individual development. Thanks again for your hospitality and care. I hope to be back again someday.
