Where Leadership Teams Align and Make the Decisions That Move Organizations Forward

Private buyout leadership retreats where executive teams step away from daily noise to clarify priorities, make decisions, and move forward with confidence.

Built-In Perspective Shifts

Strategic work degrades when energy drops and thinking becomes repetitive. Firefly retreats are intentionally structured with subtle environmental resets — short shifts in pace, setting, and interaction that prevent cognitive fatigue and encourage clearer thinking. These are not entertainment activities. They are structural adjustments designed to maintain momentum and support better decisions.

Who these retreats are for

• Executive leadership teams
• Annual planning sessions
• Department heads and functional leaders
• Growth-stage companies navigating complexity

Firefly’s integrated environment keeps leaders present, reduces drift, and supports decisions that stick.

Designed Outcomes

Clear Priorities

Teams leave with a shared view of what matters most — and what no longer does.

Faster Decisions

Private setting + uninterrupted time helps leaders resolve open loops and move forward.

Stronger Alignment

Leaders align around strategy, roles, and expectations — reducing friction after the retreat.

Defined Ownership

Next steps are assigned with clear owners, timelines, and accountability.

Reduced Miscommunication

Integrated lodging and working rhythm eliminates drift and improves clarity across leaders.

Renewed Momentum

Teams return with energy, confidence, and a practical path forward.

It doesn’t feel like a conference or a hotel ballroom. It feels focused. Your team arrives and immediately understands the space was designed for real work.

Morning sessions begin without scrambling for setup. Breakout spaces are prepared before you need them. Conversations continue naturally over meals. Evenings allow ideas to settle instead of scattering.

There is no drift between lodging and meeting space. No one disappears to another building. No one leaves early because home is nearby.

The rhythm is intentional: work deeply, pause well, decide clearly, and leave aligned. That balance — structure without stiffness — is what makes progress feel natural.

Retreat Planning Details

Is this a hotel-style conference package?

No. Firefly is a private buyout retreat environment designed for leadership conversation and strategy work.

How far are Firefly Venues from Nashville International Airport (BNA)?

Firefly Venues is approximately 50 minutes from Nashville International Airport (BNA). The drive offers a scenic transition from the city into a more private, relaxed countryside setting — ideal for teams looking to step away from daily distractions while remaining easily accessible for national travelers.

How far are the properties from downtown Nashville?

Both Paradise and Rock Springs are located approximately 50 minutes North from downtown Nashville. This allows groups to enjoy the privacy and focus of a dedicated retreat environment while still having access to the city for optional dining, entertainment, or post-retreat experiences.

For groups looking for nearby restaurant options without traveling into downtown Nashville, Hendersonville is approximately 25 minutes away and offers a variety of casual and upscale dining options. Our team is happy to provide recommendations or coordinate reservations as part of your retreat planning.

Do you provide transportation to and from the airport or for off-site activities?

While Firefly Venues does not operate transportation services, we gladly coordinate airport transfers and off-site transportation through our preferred local partners to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.

Do we need a facilitator?

Optional. Many teams self-facilitate. We can recommend partners if desired.

Can we run multiple breakouts at once?

Yes. Both properties support multiple working environments.

What AV is available?

Core meeting AV is included in your retreat package and is designed to support executive presentations, strategy sessions, workshops, and collaborative discussions.

Package on-site AV includes:

• Two flat-screen TVs with hardwire and wireless presentation capability
• One mobile TV that can be positioned indoors or outdoors as needed. *Paradise Only
• Two+ projection screens with projector connectivity
• Wireless handheld microphones
• Portable speaker system
• Presentation clickers and HDMI connectivity
• High-speed WiFi throughout primary meeting areas

Are meals included?

Yes in the Firefly Retreat Package. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice. Enhancements and specialty dining experiences may be added, including upgraded menus, curated dinners, themed evenings, or extended hosted meals. Under the Building Blocks model, culinary services are structured separately.

Are evenings programmed?

Evenings are intentionally designed for relaxed connection — never gimmicky “forced fun.”

Corporate groups may choose to keep evenings informal or add structured elements such as hosted conversations, curated gatherings, light competitive games, karaoke, or other activities by request.

Is alcohol included?

Optional. Bar service may be added as an enhancement. Some leadership teams prefer limited hosted wine service with dinner; others choose a more structured bar program.

All alcohol service is coordinated in advance to align with group preference and company policy.

How is housekeeping handled?

Under the Firefly Retreat Package, shared spaces are refreshed daily to maintain flow and professionalism. Trash is removed, common areas are maintained, and supplies are restocked.

Individual guest rooms are not serviced during the stay in order to preserve privacy and retreat rhythm.

Under the Exclusive Use + Building Blocks model, daily support services and onsite support are structured separately.

What’s the booking process?

Inquiry → fit + scope discussion → proposal → contract + deposit → planning call(s).

Leadership Sumner

“Paradise by Firefly Venues provided the ideal setting for our Leadership Sumner retreat. It is remarkably accessible, yet the moment you arrive, you feel completely transported, as though you’ve stepped into a private sanctuary. The thoughtful restoration pays tribute to its rich musical legacy while creating an inspiring environment designed for meaningful, focused work. What truly distinguished the experience was the team. They asked insightful questions from the outset, anticipated needs we hadn’t yet identified, and executed every detail with seamless precision. This allowed our Board to remain fully immersed in strategy and leadership development, confident that everything else was impeccably managed. We are already planning our return and have enthusiastically recommended Paradise to corporate planners, brides, and families celebrating milestone occasions.”

Leading Edge Performance

I just wanted to say a few words about our experience at Paradise in November. I run events across the world in a variety of conferencing and retreat venues, but they rarely feel as welcoming and homely as this. The central kitchen felt like a shared family space with always a gentle and easy conversation flowing, and the spaces both inside and out gave us so much choice in curating an environment conducive to team and individual development. Thanks again for your hospitality and care. I hope to be back again someday.
